ABYSSINIAN



The Abyssinian is an ancient breed that came to Europe with soldiers returning from the Abyssinian War. Later crossed with the British Shorthair, this breed is active, playful, and inquisitive. They are usually slender and shorthaired with an overall ruddy color. Recently some red varieties have appeared and the Abyssinian is also seen in blue and fawn.
