AFFENPINSCHER
The 8-pound Affenpinscher is a fearless, intelligent, friendly dog and makes a good house pet. Originally bred around the 17th Century, the breed was used for flushing out rats in German stores and stables. Affenpinscher means Monkey Terrier in German, while the French refer to the Affenpinscher as diablotin moustachu, meaning moustached little devil.
